You'll see an MG and maybe a Jag once in a while, but I haven't seen a Sunbeam Tiger here in 25 years. Ole boy was cruisin' Gause Blvd in it. I think there was a local meet as I saw another classic close by. Wish I had the Midget with me, I would have had to challenge him. :driving: :jester:
 
I'm a member of two local LBC clubs, one of them has alot of Morgan owners, the other, alot of Sunbeam owners, probably 5-6 Tigers in the one club and a few Alpines to boot, neat cars, my wife's favorite LBC.
 
Youre' lucky, aint nothin' 'round here unless it's hidden.

There's a local club that I'm tempted to join, but I like being "out on my own".

Last time I did that, all of the political crap turned me off.

I don't want anyone killin' by LBC buzz.

Most clubs are a asset to owning a LBC, they have tech sessions, group drives and outings, I met some of my best friends being in car clubs.
 
My wife and I are members of our club, it gives us something nice to do together that isn't about the kids and of course it's great to socialize with the other LBC owners. Going on runs together is another treat!

NOPE! NOT A CHANCE !!!

Standing challenge is a 30 mile run, first one there wins.

Rules are: only one gallon of fuel allowed, no stopping for more, vehicle must move under it's own power at 55 MPH and we run for titles.

I don't do much with the local Austin-Healey club, but our local British Motor Club is a great group. They're very relaxed folks -- I've been to more events in a non-British car than with one, and no one is bothered in the least.

Of course, our club's founders were clear that we'd never have club dues or any real membership requirements. Just show up and join in the fun.

I joined the Model A and T club, nice folks. We all have four cylinder engines.
