Saw a really nice saloon.

At a big barbecue last Saturday I was surprised to see a really nice Rover, possibly from the 1940's as it had running boards and fenders separate from the body.
Beautiful interior, and the boot basically a box behind the rear seat, a conventional saloon of that era basically, but with a very nice interior and sort of a friendly, comfortable look.
Viking boat badge on the grille, I think, but I didn't have my camera so I could be wrong about that, and I think it was used for many years anyway, so that may not help.
Maybe someone can say what it was?

Sorry it wouldn't have been mine which is pictured in the members car pictures............My P3 is acting up at the moment and i haven't had time to address its misfire......

Although P3's are seen around most are the 6 light version and not the 4 light like mine........I have tracked down only 10 of these in North America and 3 are rusting hulks waiting to be restored

There is a Rover 75 privately for sale here in Fort Collins. Runs well and is in great shape. I'll see if I can get photos out to anyone interested.

Send it to Steve - I don't think he's bought a car yet, and I know he's partial to the old Rovers...
