We had a good breakfast at Cleary's , and wonderful sandwiches at Zunzi's near SCAD (Try the Conquistador Chicken Sandwich).

You could probably spend a lot at Paula Dean's restaurant, although I have not heard great things about the place. I had a very good dinner at The Pink House, but it was a group banquet so I have no idea about prices...

I did the same in late August....We stayed local but managed to burn some c notes in the process. Worth every penny & minute.

Sadly, I cant help with the restaurant selection for you....never been to Savannah.

Well back from Savannah and the daughter is safe and sound in the dorm.

Randy, did you spend as much as us setting her up in the dorm. Who'd have thunk.
Dave, we made reservations for the Pink House before we left and did eat there . Food was good and dropped about $175.00 there.3 people and didn't even buy a bottle of wine .

She'll be fine. Hard to walk away without a tear or two huh? Mine has been at school since August 18th. Miss her dearly but she is doing quite well.

Uhmmm Yes. Computer, server, printer, TV, Directv service, fan, fridge, clothes, lamps, books...oh the books ($650+ so far in freaking books & software!)

My credit card took a beating, but I suspect things will be better as we move forward as we now own most of the necessary stuff.

My daughter has to pay for her own books - had to decide which of two classes she had to drop - chose the one with $400 worth of books. and they say an education is wasted.
