Last Saturday Shirley and I took a 400+ mile drive through Southwest Wisconsin. Started in Madison and drove to Prairie du Chien. Then north along the Mississippi until we were a ways north of LaCrosse and then turned east. We crossed the Wisconsin River and when we reached Wautoma turned south and drove back home. We were in 16 counties and saw many interesting sights including several Bald Eagles.

Tom-
Beautiful photo of your six.

But what auto were your driving for the 400+ mile
sight seeing trip?

I once drove 26 miles until a breakdown in my six.
I think that's still my all time record drive in
the Crypt Car. But maybe I once got 45 miles before
the steering broke. I forget.

Here's a current photo of my car.
I like yours much better!!

Again, Great photo!!

Hi Tom,

Thanks for sharing your photos. A drive through the Wisconsin countryside looks quite nice. A 400 mile trip is a good outing, especially when you have your honey sitting next to you to share the fun.

Hi Dale, over 3,000 miles now since I finished the engine rebuild in mid July. I am sure you will be doing the same soon.

Hi Dan, Shirley has been with me for all but 100 or less of those miles this summer. She enjoys it as much or more than I do if that is possible.
