Sans bumpers

JP - that's the sort of light bar I was thinking off. (The Jag motor is strictly optional).

I really like the look of that car. Makes me wish I had bought that RHD Midget a few years back...

Bingo! That's it.....!
Any ideas where I can get one?

Probably have to fabricate up something, that's my guess. Wouldn't be too hard for a local machinist to whip up, and probably not expensive. It's pretty much just a bar with tabs to mount to the bumper mounts, and a couple tabs for the lights.

Alot of the people who do the t-tops for boats can do that fab easily out of stainless....

Why not contact the guys with the Jag-motored car? They made one, (and by the look of their site they did the fabricating) so they could probably make up another (maybe at least give you some pointers!)! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Just out of curiosity, how rare are those Jag E type hoods? That's quite far above my sheet metal abilities, but I'm quite curious. I love the driving lights look, reminds me quite a bit of the Saab 900 whale tale sport models (can't remember the exact badging).

Indeed I did Mike, $100 to make one in a variety of finishes (no chrome though) I'll get one in Aluminum and polish it up.
Very nice chap indeed and chatted about that Sprite for a while....He said that his daughter was worried, because every time people look under the hood of the Sprite, they swear!

This way, I don't need to cut anything, it looks awesome and I don't loose my lamps, thanks guys! Thanks JP! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

No problem, if the bar should come with a Jag powered Sprite attached and you need to get rid of it to make it fit, I can probably take if off your hands. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

Very cool, and reasonable, I'd say! You will also be able to call your car a Midget Couper! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

That engine has to be a real shocker when the bonnet is poped, hehe.

Something like that. He did ask me if I wanted a Jag motor put in mine, well, obviously I do want, and obviously, cannot afford!
1800lbs and HP in the 180's, he said the best part about it that the internet can't do justice to, was the growl.

Did he mention what a job like that costs?

No Jack, but I guess somewhere near what my attorney would charge me if my wife found out what I was asking about!

LOL, ain't that the truth.

Anyone needing Pics of bumperettes mounted on Bugsy's rear let me know. I can't figure out how to attach pics. Sent me a PM. I also had a guy give me a set of Bugeye Bumperettes/Overiders that are old/old/old. Round on bottom by bolt and go up to a point on the top end. Have never seen anything like them before.

Wonder what they are for?

Look at some very old brit stuff.
