Sandblaster/air compressor

MCS said:
I just hate paying for something I really can do myself. I should mention for the 1200.00 he does prep and epoxy primer the car for that price. I am working with limited space and do not have acres of room.

Phil, $1200 is the going rate in this part of the world - and actually a bargain from some places I called when it was my turn. Prep and Epoxy is a very nice plus. You are close enough to get the guy who did mine justice :nonono:

Another option is dipping. There is an outfit at Puslinch that can arrange it - though as I recall they actually dip the car in Oakville. Off the top of my head, it was $2.50 a lb about 2 years ago.

Hey JP,

Great idea, all I need to do is post a want add for some body parts. I briefly looked at chemical dipped, like the sand blast method just seems easier on the car. The guy I have contact with does seem to do a nice job, I have seen several big Healey’s he has stripped they look good. I need that manual in your library about how to get permission and yet convince my spouse that it is a good idea to purchase a big shinny compressor. Must send Mark by to check yur library sure hope you have everything in alphabetical order otherwise he will be there for a week.

Hey

Why do I always get roped into these projects. Phil send me email on where you went and saw a big Healey.

Cheers
