The guys at the shot were able to paint up the TR3 over the weekend, IMHO, it looks great!
Next step is to put on all the little bits after which I can drive it to storage where it will rest (and harden up) over the winter -

Cheers,

Looks good! What color interior/top goes with it? (you may have said earlier but I've actually been spending time working).

Right now it will be the black that came with the car - its in good condition. Eventually, I will probably switch to blue. There is also a non-stock cherry (i think) dash that will go in (also came with the car). Color is a bit lighter than I would have preferred, and looks lighter still inthe photos, but overall i am quite pleased,
Cheers,
Kerry

Looks great, wish mine was at that stage!
You may have mentioned this before, but was that a base clear paint job or enamel?
Simon.

its not a base/clear paint job - they used a dupont urethane...to my eye it gives a nice traditional look - but given the amount of prep work they did, i doubt it had ever looked this straight (or shiny) - there is not a wave, dimple or scratch anywhere,

That is definitely not a correct restoration...

... but it looks very nice.

I think it looks great. I can only hope mine turns out looking as nice. Enjoy it.
