So Runyun sent out his weekly letter.
Is the pricing for the Moto lite leather wrapped a decent price?
Been thinking of changing the Wedge's wheel. Kind of old.

What you want to do is wait until the sale price is over. From now 'til then you'll be thinking, "oh, I probably should get that wheel;" then, about six months from now, when the price has moved up a few notches, you'll finally break down, order the wheel, plus a ton of other stuff you absolutely need right away.

I'll let you know in a week or so. May just need dyed.

Mine is all crusty, well maybe not crusty
but for sure not smooth and pretty.
But I follow you on your between the lines comment

Carpet is brand new. Wheel looks a little faded, but it may be the pic. Plenty of time for that stuff later. There will be many sales.....

Don,

I always seem to find that the best price on Moto Lita Wheels hands down is the Little British Car Company. Give Jeff a call before you order from TRF. It looks like the same wheel is $250 at the LBC company and you get 3 per cent off that.

The best part PB!

I will see Jeff on Sat @ Portland at the ABFM. Maybe I'll call this week and have him bring it.
Thanks Boys.

And Tom, I don't know if I can wait on the carpet. I'm looking at bare metal now

How do I get the extra 3% off?

Take a look at the website Don. It says they have a sale on right now. If you spend over 200 bucks you get 3 per cent off.....spend more, get a higher % off etc.

Cheers,
Tush

You might also try www.rimmerbros.co.uk - their standard price, including hub, works out at about $250. The shipping and UPS fee will add to that, but probably still work out cheaper than TRF's sale price. If you can wait, they usually do free shipping to USA over the Thanksgiving weekend, and they have a TR7 sale sometime each new year. I got my TR6 Moto Lita (including hub) from them for about $160 total during a sale - I happened to be in England so paid no shipping on that though.

Do I need the hub for a Wedge. No horn or nothing on it.

Contacted Jeff earlier:

Being a e mail this is backwards

Don

Sorry wish you would have ordered it yesterday and would have been happy to.
Oh well shipping is not all that much  We land in about 2 hours I think.
Heading off to Seattle in the AM never been there before.

Best Regards,

Jeff Zorn
