and later for sale in San Francisco in 2009 for $142,900

Has moved on to the streets of Greenwich Village and an ask of $210,000 on eBay

Saw this in ebay but no idea it was same car from a few years ago. Seems one of the big auctions would be a better venue to get anywhere near the price asked. Sure Randy - our 100 Registrar -will be watching with interest as same color combo as the one he has under restoration or maybe finished now by Tom Kovacs!

I'm not totally sure it's the same car as the Dawydiak ad didn't include the chassis number. Maybe Randy knows for sure.

Different car. "Salad Bar" 100M is now overseas. Car on ebay was restored by Tom Kovacs a few years ago & was USA owned. Actually the "Salad Bar" car was restored by Tom also. Love the Florida Green / OEW!!!!

The 100M shown in this original posting & on ebay appears to be missing the rear Reflector Pods, that you would expect to see on a late BN2. Also the engine tag is pretty ragged.

BTW, the Florida Green ebay car is too "blue". Took the paint supplier 4 times to get ours right but they finally matched the original color perfectly.

Did someone say Florida Green....? Color chip take from under the gas take and matched to original BMC color chart. Side note, leaving to compete in the Rolex Monterey Historic Reunion early tomorrow morning. Watch the action on Speedvision, date TBA....

Love the Florida Green over white combo too, I live in Lincoln, about 50 miles away from Omaha, when we went up to Omaha went to the Salad Bar Healey restaurant to eat a few times just because it was the Salad Bar Healey restaurant, this would have been the late 80s, don't know if I really knew what an "M" was then, but remember thinking that even in its present salad bar state it could and should be brought back original and used, maybe by some local enthusiast (moi?) nothing over came of those ideas from my end. The restaurant was called Pferronis, Italian/pizza place, spin on the name of the owner's Pfeffer. Wish I had a picture, might have at one time, but if so lost it a long time ago.
