I agree Doc! Terrible loss! It strikes me funny that cages and safer cockpits have not been required on those cars. Cage, not a costly item, safer cockpits, yes, but my way of looking at it is they should be required by the controlling authority's. If these cars are running in an old timers race, heavily monitored for speed etc, there would be no big deal, but in all out racing, for safety of the drivers, they should be required to have a cage and more safety devices installed. Cages alone have saved many drivers in the past. JMHO. PJ
