Well, Tunebug and I (and my wife) talked it over, and today I canceled my hotel reservation for Lake of the Ozarks. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif Sad to do, but issues both temporal and financial proved too much to overcome and I wanted the room to be available to others.

Mostly I'll miss the chance to meet many of you in person. Hopefully I'll be able to get the Tunebug to something next year.

Soooo... Are you taking it to the San Diego Conclave?

Unfortunately not, Trevor. No Sprite trips next year -- we're flying back to RI in the summer to see my family, and with airfare costs nowadays that pretty much takes up the entire travel budget (and vacation time) for the year.

2009 is Tunebug's 50th birthday, so I am going to try to make a larger show that year if I can.

Aw man.....................

Too bad. If I am able to go, I was hoping to meet you as well. Mine is a 59 as well. Maybe we can have a cake made and blow out the candles with the exhaust or something. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Drew this is bad news,

I was really hoping you would be in the caravan of spridgets with me and Mike.
Now you have to fine me a suitable substitute!

Ahh shucks.

Was a hard call to make, and I put it off as long as possible. I'm bummed, but you gotta do what you gotta do -- family's important stuff.

So y'all will just have to have extra fun for me and the Tunebug. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Drew, that is tough news, sorry to hear.
Spridget 100 maybe?

Yea, Spridget 100, heck I will only be 169 years old. I'll need several restorations.

Felt like it this morning, cold here and the bed was so warm.

Jack at 7:30 it was 52 degrees in Dayton and front blew through with 50-60 Mph winds. When I want out for coffee at 7:00 ths morning temps were at 12 with winds still over 30 mph. Talk about a change in the weather. Come on Spring 51 one days and counting to Spring and Colleen's Birthday.

Sat. is ground hog day.

Any ground hog here wouldn't be able to get through all the snow to see his shadow -- besides, its supposed to snow again here on Saturday. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
