I cleaned my Victrola's motor and lubed it today because it was not powering all the way through a record anymore. Got it all reassembled and put on Harry James playing 'Flight of the Bumblebee,' and it still wouldn't play through. It's time for new springs for my poor old Victrola guess I'll start looking Monday.
 
Some things just don't last anymore- what, it was only 100 years old or so? Quality rant over.
