sad bugeye for sale

Couple hours with the rubbing compound, it'll be fine...

JP gotta agree that baby is a parts parts car!! funny ad says panels are solid due to most being replaced...what else was there?...restoration has it's limits!!

And another bits the dust.

I dunno, the important panels are there and look fairly solid. I think it could be restored. I'd take on the project if I could get the car for $200 or less.

At this point it would be a great hot rod project...if the chassis work is solid you might as well throw in a modern injected four, six or eight cylinder engine...the damage is already done...

I guess that is my sadness - the 9 inch rear end

BTW - not too long ago someone was talking a Midget rat rod - cn't find the link. Anyway, realizing I am talking out of both side of my mouth (not wanting to hot rod a bugeye but loving what I am about to show you) - saw this on ebay - https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1965-RAT-...1QQcmdZViewItem

I don't know if you were thinking of me, but I'm gonna rat rod my bugeye while I sort it out mechanically. But I sure don't know what to think of a fairlady rat rod! LOLOL!

As for the bugeye with the 9 inch rear.....the expression silk purse from a sow's ear comes to mind.....someone ELSE did the nasty stuff.....now to see who can make a diamond from another's t*rd.....
