Saab 9000 Wheel Bearings

Wife's car had a loose front wheel bearing. It's easy enough to work on, but there's no hole for a locking pin like on my LBC's (for example). So I used locktite.

This is what Saab intended isn't it?

FYI,
85/87 900 disk pads are available as a vw part at a fraction of saab 900 cost, just different logo on the box, prob some other parts also, seeing as how vw/saab/alpha/etc did a commmon chassis running gear etc prog some yrs ago

which vw model would I use to search for parts for a 9000? I had read that the 9000 was similar to a Lancia, and a German and French car but forgot which ones.

Think it might have been Audi involded in the common platform

The Saab 9000 shared a platform with the Lancia Thema, Fiat Croma and the Alfa Romeo 164. No German or French manufacturer was involved in that one.

thanks steve. saab parts are probably more reasonable than Lancia or Alfa parts.
