Just bought a pair just like these;

I'm thinking maybe in the TR8 since those seats are pretty tired or '74 TR6 since I have Miata seats in her that I might need to move to the TR4a (solid axle, bit of a rat right now but I need her for an upcoming rally). What do you think? Or I could threaten to put them in the MGC and drive those guys completely insane.

Not sure but I think they also have seat heaters in them, but since they still have live air bags in them as well I think I'll do some researching first before randomly putting current through the wiring :smile:

(everything will be easily reversible in the TRs, and I have correct foams and covers already...)

Those look like Saabaru seat for sure- good idea!

Well you Sir are hardly an unbiased opinion since you'll be driving the TR8 in the rally this fall...

But then again you'll be driving the TR6 as well so you are kind of covered...

The Miata seats don't have the lap belt bolted to the seat like TR7/8 seats. Any ideas on how to bolt in the lap section?

Not to hi-jack the Saab seat thread but........ if this is what you're talking about, the Miata seats do have the seat belt release as part of the seat. For a TR6, this piece gets cut off.

When I am back in town I'll test fit in the TR6/TR4 to see, I really bought them for the TR8 or Volvo 122s (where they'll fit for sure).

I didn't mean the seat belt release, but where the lap point bolts down. I've been working on a set of 2000 Miata seats for my TR7 FHC, only for a week or so.
