very slick new package for the Corvette C7. As much as I like Corvettes, I think GM really ought to invest some time to develop overhead cams for their small blocks. They've got a 6.2L engine in this thing that they're claiming makes ~450HP and torque. Meanwhile, Ford's Coyote 5.0L V8 that goes into the Mustang GT and Mustang Boss302 makes 420 in the GT and 444HP in the Boss302.

Anywho, I really like the new styling of the C7. It somewhat reminds me of the StingrayII in profile.

I like the front end,but the back looks like they
used the ugly Camaro taillights.I think that if the put smooth
taillight lenses in the same housing,it would give it a much
cleaner look.

I like the exhaust. Not a 'vette fan really but this one is sweet.

I saw the car at Barrett Jackson. I am not much of a Corvette kinda guy....but the crowd around it was. It was fun to watch & listen...Almost all of them loved the front, liked the interior and HATED the back end. Most grumbled about getting the 2014 Camaro rear end.

IN general I would say the reception was extremely cool by the crowds that were there.
