S1 Elan returns from crash!

My father picked up his '64 Elan from the restorer yesterday. They fixed all the crash damage, plus put on new tires, replaced the springs, reinstalled the handbrake (which had been removed by a previous owner,) fixed the windows (which wouldn't stay up or down,) and fitted side mirrors to assist with visibility.

Today my dad picked up his old Lotus racing buddy, Ron Lee (former Elite and XI racer and Lotus dealer,) and they joined the Evergreen Lotus club for a tour. Great fun, so my dad tells me.

He even sent some pictures from the event. Attached is a picture from the event.

I'm so happy he's back on the road. He sounded so happy to have "Little Red" back.
