March 19, 2018 Rut posted the comment below in the thread "Tasteful Upgrades for a Bugeye (Part II)". Does anyone have more detailed information than can be gleaned from zooming in on his photo? Buddy Jeff built a fibreglas duplicate of the stock cupola (but lowered about half an inch) for our installation, but we're hoping to get a 2nd BE built this summer and I'd like to see this as an alternative. Thanks, Doug

"I also use a ‘garage special’ short shifter that I made up awhile back to keep from modifying the cupola or ‘Top hat’ which allows me to adjust throw, shifter length, and centering for less than $20 that anyone can make with basic tools. The cutting and welding of the original shifter just didn’t make sense to me and I also lost the original in the fire along with the tranny.
Thanks for the list!
Rut "

Sorry - I probably should have used the title '5 speed'. Doug
