Rust holes in engine of Austin Healey 3000 Mk II BJ7

Bob - just looked the kits up (age showing here: I automatically searched for Southern Carburetor...),but am unclear as to the difference between the two kits. Can you advise? thanks, Doug
 
That hole next to the boss for the water temp sending unit is surprising. I would have thought the head would be solid iron in that area. It appears it was very thin on your head.

Purely from memory, the full kit includes the correct drill bit. However, Bill already had the bit so I only needed the replacement liner tube
