Go to www.goldengatehealeys.com and look at either the calender or Healey Happenings. There is an on line news letter that details the two events and many more. The Russian River tour leaves Larkspur ferry terminal (9:30) and uses back roads to Fort Ross. Back via Cazadero to Guernville and Rio Nido again by back roads. Nice group of people with nice cars. Check with the guys to see when they may be in an area near you. Two of us are driving down (small convoy) from Tahoe for this trip.
Gonzo,Bighly, are you guys going?
I'm hoping to make it. Mendocino is defintely out though - It's the same as the Monterey Historics weekend. Can't miss that!

Thanks for asking but unfortunately, I'll be missing this tour as well. We'll be traveling in the greater Seattle, WA area, destination Orcas Island, on those dates.
The Palo Alto British Car Event and Show this September is a must ...let's talk. Until then have fun on the Russian River Tour! Cheers, GONZO
The Historics do take priority. Randy, I'll be there with Ray Juncal (makes finned valve covers with brass plates) at the same campsite as the last 10 years. Lets hook up and have a few cold ones!! I think I'll bring my Healey this year, yes camping. Contact me off list or private and I'll give you my cell number. Also consider the weekend before for the pre-Historics where the real racing happens.
Historics are Aug 13 and Mendocino is the 20th-21st weekend. The Historics are clasic races aren't they? I've never been. What else goes on? I cannot find a web sight.
Ah, sorry. My wife handed me the updated schedule with the correction on the Monterey Historics. It is the 19th to the 21st, the same weekend as Mendocino.
Feast or famine. Summer is too short.

Will do. I'll be driving the Jag this year - blasphemy! But hey we've got a prime location club corral which as you probably know is worth a lot on race day. Anyway I'll be there Sat morning early helping out with traffic control at the corral. I'll send you a private email so that we can exchange cell #s.Cheers.
