Well after ordering new parts for the Weber carb on the MGB LE from a supplier(www.pegasusracing.com)suggested by someone(sorry I can't recall who)on this forum and reinstalling the repaired carb the car runs 10x's better than it ever has.....Aside from the original fuel leak we found that one of the bolts that holds the carb to the manifold was missing!!!
The car now has much more power and a smoother sound....took it for a quik ride(could hardly see through the windows it was so dirty from sitting) and were amazed at the difference......clutch still slips, but it will be going in for a new one this week(as long as no more problems arise).
Yes, I did wash it after!
