Rubbing Wheels BN1

I purchased some wheels from Racemettle UK for my BN1. but on full lock in both direction they just rub on the inside of wheel rim on the shock absorber arms just above the pinch bolt
To rectifify this problemI have had to reduce the steering lock which I feel their should be a better way. Has any of the forum fit these wheels and did they have this problem. The wheels fit on my BT7 with no sign of rubbing

Hey Keith,
Are they 60 spoke and not 48 spoke or even wire wheels for that matter? The stock wheels for BN1 and BN2 should be 48 spoke and 4 inches wide. 60 spoke were 4.5 inches wide. Not familiar with the Racemettle vendor so can't help with anything about that. If you by chance have 4.5 inch wide rims that could be the problem as well as clearance for the spokes on the brake drums.
Regards,
Mike

The wheels are not wire but like the the Dunlop wheels alumnium
with spined hubs if you look at racemetal web sight you will see what the look like thank you for your interest
