RPM gauge not working. Put tach-meter on coil and getting reading. Nothing at the Tach gauge itself. I know the previous owner took apart dash and reinstalled. I have wiring diagram for vehicle.
What I'm looking for if anyone has is:
  1. A picture of the gauge hooked up? so that I can verify some wiring (looks rigged)
  2. Some good instructions on troubleshooting or installation?
  3. Thoughts on common problems

    Thank you in advance guys.

    Greg

First if it was converted to negative ground you have to change the capiciter inside the unit also the white wire loop needs to be changed there are a number of articles on the net about this

The vehicle is still a positive earth.

see if the wiring is correct then look at the b/w wire at the cut off switch and clean connections at the coil

I'll help anyone named Greg.
