Roy Jackson-Moore
May 28, 1925 – April 30, 2017
It is with sadness that I report that this morning Roy Jackson-Moore passed peacefully in hospital. His son Jamie was by his side, and his daughter Robin will arrive from the USA tomorrow. The funeral arrangements have yet to be made.
If you're not familiar with his career and involvement with Healeys, Google him.
I met him several times and corresponded occasionally via email. I put a photo of him with his 100M on the cover of HEALEY MARQUE in 2008. I certainly doesn't seem like it could have been almost a decade ago. He was always a welcome addition to any Healey club meeting.
He was a real gentleman. RIP Roy.
