Rover 3500S - manual trans - where is reverse?

Is reverse left and down? Lift T-collar on the shifter?

Do these gearboxes have a finned aluminum gearbox casing on the bottom?

Trying to ID a transmission in an early Morgan +8, I'm pretty sure they Morgan borrowed it from a 3500S. Shifter ball seems to have departed, resulting in the shifter assembly being able to pull out of the transmission into a drivers' rather discncerted hand...

Guess I'd better ask if there are any good parts sources stateside - or better yet - was the shifter common to the LT77?

Pull collar then top left

Hmmmm... Is that the SD1 with the LT77 box, or the earlier P6 4-speed? I really thought the P6 3500S would have been left-and-down..... <scratching head>

That's the LT77.
It's been a long time since I drove a P6. I thought it was R and down, but I might well be mistaken.
