Update. Your suggestion worked! I did damage the study and need to change it. It is not budging with a hammer and drift. I am assuming that I will need to remove the hub and have them pressed out? The remaining studs appear to be "stressed". I assume this would be from years of exposure to air guns?
Good glad to hear it, not surprised the stud was damaged you have to be very careful or lucky not to mark them. I would press out the old ones and fit new again they should be pressed in not hammered or pulled. Air wrenches are horrible things if used incorrectly , I've seen many a stud necked or sheared and long before then they get weakened. Use a torque wrench !!!
