Took the day off work and took the 59 Sprite to the show at Fox Lake in Titusville, Florida.100 miles each way from Port Saint Lucie. By far the furthest I have taken my car. Took I-95 up and back, my ears are still ringing! The only problem was on the way back, a loss of coolant about 7 miles from home. I had a gallon of water so it was not a big deal. The Sprite Gods smiled upon me, for once!
I had the only AH Sprite and there were 2 MG Midgets there. I didn't count em all, but there must have been about 80 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gifcars there.It was the first show I have been to, and I had a blast. Kudos to the MG car club of Florida! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

And the same praise to the MG Of Baltimore (MGOB) club for the show at Rocks Park. Must have been 150 or more cars, probably 8 bugeyes and as many or more big healeys (including Michael Oritt who got a 3rd). Ton of rumphs and too many MG's to count. One of the visiting clubs -LANCO- had 30 there. Guess by the time it's your 26th annual, you've learned how to do it right. No placing for my Dart...the "other British" class always has some very unique restorations. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
