General TR Rough looking '67 Vitesse

I was thinking about adding a Vitesse or Herald.....This would be a project but I can afford the price

The ticket price of admission will be a lot less than all the $ it will take to do a proper resto.

Hmmm, it says 4 cylinder, but looks like a 6 to me. Not a pleasant design to look at. If it's all there it might be a good buy for someone. PJ

Paul- that was the first thing that caught my eye when I first looked at the auction. Of course you are right... just count the wires on the dizzy.

This is a very rare car in North America, btw. Only 679 of the original 1600cc Sports 6 convertibles were officially sold in the US. Some Vitesse 6s (off and on badged also as "Sports 6") were also sold in Canada. This is the second version, with the 2L engine, and these were sold only in Canada. Very hard to tell from those pictures, but I suspect (wonder, hope) that it might be a bit better than it looks. If you don't care for the styling, that's fine; either way, it is a car worthy of restoration (keeping in mind that a modified but well restored Sports 6 sold for well north of $20k several years ago)!

I found it amusing that an auto tech school is selling this Vitesse and couldn't tell a six from a four
