Rooster roundup!

Earlier today, our Husky was barking her head off at something out the kitchen window. I assumed it was just a rabbit or squirrel. but when I looked I saw a white rooster strutting around. We checked with all th neighbors we know of in the area with chickens and roosters and it wasn't any of theirs. It took the wife and I and a neighbor couple and their daughter two hours to get this critter corralled into our old goat pen in the back yard. He kept wanting to run into the cover of our many thick juniper trees. We eventually got his safely put away in a 10x10 goat pen (we used to have a Pigmy Goat). Posted his picture on Nextdoor - hopefully someone will claim him.

Funny you should mention that. Yes, actually he did! We were trying to catch him and he ran across the road to our neighbors...he were concerned their dogs would get him! Managed to get him back across to our yard and eventually into a pen.
