Just spoke to Denise the convention person at the hotel.

There are rooms left, specify "Spridgets" when you try to book. They are $84 as I remember. Do not take no for an answer.

No excuse to not stay with the gang and where the activities are. In addition there will be 24/7 security for your car.

Miss Agatha expects all her friends to be close by.

Hey Zimmy, don't sweat it. I'm driving the Ugly Bug it has a squirt of cheap black paint and NO finish body work. I've got some carpet scraps that I'm putting in it to help control the noise. The seats are also just patched up originals. The only thing shiny on the car is the steering wheel and the light rings. I figure (if the car doesn't break down) that I'm saving money by driving instead of towing. I think we'll stay at the event hotel just to help make sure we don't miss anything. The real fun at these car events usually happens as spontaneous activities where people just decide to do something not on the schedule.
