TR2/3/3A Rookie mistake,

Is that centre piece small enough to fit through the coils of the spring or does it fit through the centre hole for the shock absorber? it looks like a good bit of kit

Yep, that compressor was one of the first tools I ever bought, so it has to be 45 years old. I was given my Mother's old 1973 4 door olds cutlass. Thinking I was going to make it handle like a 442 with the W30 option...I decided to change out the front springs to brand new W30 springs. I was too ignorant to realize that 442's had big blocks, which weighed at least another 150 lbs over the small block in the car, so then my front end was super high. So, I next had to add air shocks to the rear, to level the car back out...and then it was as tall as a pickup and road like a tank. Of course, none of that mattered to a young 17 year old with his first real car!?!

Back in those days the only thing you could buy from China was fireworks and finger cuffs!
