Rolling Thunder honors veterans

I thought that I-70 was roaring louder than usual today!

I really gotta get off my but & fix my scoot. I'm missing great weather.

I rode in the Rolling Thunder rally last year but could not make it this year due to other commitments and poor planning.

The ride from the Pentagon parking lot to the wall in the "parade" is a very moving experience. The bikes started leaving the parking lot at noon. I was about half way and did not move until 1:10. There was a Marine about half way down Constitution Ave. in dress blues. He held a salute until all the bikes passed. There were people all along the route with flags, salutes, & signs. I don't see how anyone could participate in that and not be touched.

Pete
