roller throwout bearing ?

I have a new clutch kit on the way as part of a tranny swap taking place on our '67 MGB. I had previously looked (not too hard) for a roller bearing throw out instead of the normal carbon faced type. Having not seen them around, asssumed they were not available. That is until I pulled apart the engine from the tranny after removal. Lo and behold, the existing one is a roller bearing type.

Anyone know of a source for these ? I'm considering putting the old roller back in; but, it did seem a to make a little vibration when on the clutch alot. I will have a new carbon one to use should I go that route.

Thanks for the help, Dave.

That's a hateful call. The carbon ones hold up pretty well, tho. If it was a choice of either a "used" roller bearing or a new carbon one, I'd go with the carbon... but that's just me.

Most major suppliers have em`.....I got one from a local Moss distributor so Moss should carry it.

Got mine from Moss. Carbon! Vic. Brit. had them also. PJ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
