ROLL CALL .......Who Races What ?

I raced my TR8 in the North hills sports car club for 3 years. I spent my past two in Iraq and I am back working hard to get my TR8 back in shape to run the fall part of the schedule. I will run some at Breaverun too. I am looking into building a TR7 for some ITC racing after I figure out all the liscensing requirements. I am new to the form, I look forward to learning from you all.

TR8 owners have a pretty good club (TR8CCA) that ties us together with easy acess to some really smart 8 guys (Woody and Ted). I am looking to try to find some smart guys/gals to help me figure out how to get involved into road racing with TR7

Yep, already a member of TR8CCA.

Ted has an incredible amount of first hand knowledge about racing wedges. He would be a very good person to cozy up with to pick his brain.

There is another TR8 racer that is part of the wedge mailing list. He lives near Woody and uses his stuff a lot.

PATR8:
-Our club (EMRA) runs one wheel-to-wheel road racing event at BeaveRun and five race events at Pocono (plus other tracks). We also run Time Trials (where you can bring a street car or all-out race car). Time Trials are great for getting "seat-time" or setting up your car.
Licensing and car-prep is pretty simple and straighforward with EMRA. Contact me if you need more info (I'm the RaceChair).
I am also involved in a vintage club (VRG). They run one event at BeaveRun and *may* let you run your car in their events (they accept the EMRA race license).

EMRA has an "ST" class that is very similar to SCCA IT (a lot of SCCA IT guys run with us when they can).

The remainder of the EMRA 2006 schedule can be seen here

Oh and welcome back to the "real world"...Thanks for your service.

Unfortunately the attachments are not working at the moment. I just moved the forum to a new server and think I have some directory issues going on. I'm working on a fix, then you can try again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Basil

UPDATE: Ok, I had a simple directory permissions problem after the move to the new server. Try replying to this and upload another picture. Should work this time.

Basil

Well, I'll give it a try seeing as I don't believe I've posted in this thread.

Attached should be a picture of both my cars on the track at Waterford Hills, Michigan.

Tim

PS: Just tried it and it worked here.
