Rocker Problem-BJ7

Quickly developed a noticeable tapping this weekend on my BJ7, and have identified a single rocker that is not oiling where the adjusting stud meets the pushrod. The ball joint is perished.
A couple of questions.
1. Assuming I haven't scarred the rocker shaft, is it OK to replace the bush on only one rocker?
2. Can I simply replace the one pushrod?

Motor is fairly fresh rebuild; I can only presurme the oilway was misaligned on the rocker.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I think in this case a repair to the damaged rocker would be acceptable.-FWIW--Keoke

Pull rocker shaft and check all rockers and adjusting balls for oil flow with air hose or spray can. Replace push rod and repair rocker bushing and adjusting ball and you should be on your way. :yesnod:

Thanks to all.
Made the repair this afternoon and all is quiet. Still not sure what caused the stoppage in the oil flow..
