Roaster Factory Investment Plan

I do not believe that he ever ANSWERS any email, but he does send a LOT of email messages.
Well, "ever" might be too strong. I have just once gotten a personal reply from him.

I'm pretty sure the problem is that (unlike the rest of us it seems), he does not spend his life in front of a computer and has other things to attend to. In addition, I daresay that he finds it somewhat difficult and unpleasant (like many who grew up without computers and keyboards). So, like any good executive, he delegates tasks as much as possible, including reading (and writing) email.

I also agree with Andy, most likely Charles dictates those chatty emails for someone else to type and send.

Randall, I have written him in the past and never received an answer, even the year he had the sales contest and I was his #1 customer in $$$ spent for the year. That was a little disappointing, as my request was a simple one and one that any executive should have answered.

It was no big deal, I still visited TRF the following spring and even devoted a web page of my site to a tour there. I grew up in that area and know Dave and the other guys pretty well, so I will always support them and I do take advantage of his sales that stem from the emails that he sends.

Chuck who answers the phone is in sales. Charles is the owner. My bad...

Shoot -- I thought maybe one of the perqs of being in the investment program was that you get to call 'Charles' 'Chuck'.

No that just wouldn't be right -- be like calling John the Baptist 'Jack'.

I have received personal emails from Albert who seems to me to be every bit the gentleman and businessman that his father is.

Albert is in charge of purchasing and is very friendly and has a great sense of humor.
