Next week I am off on a week long road trip in the Bugeye (wish me luck!). I will be driving from Denver to San Simeon, CA before meandering my way to Vegas and back home to Denver. I have no exact plans, other than being in San Simeon for a get together with friends over the weekend so I'll have the time to just explore the back roads of California and Nevada on my way back home.

If you are taking 80 from Denver through Sacramento before turning down the coast, you're welcome to stop in for a visit in Davis. Check out the turbo Bugeye and talk cars. Right between Sacramento and SF on 80, send me an e-mail so I'll be sure the bugeye is ready to go.

I hope your trip will be great, I love driving the 1 (California highway one) between Cambria and Santa Cruz (where I live)...
The road is winding and with a wonderful view of the Pacific... A perfect Spridget road...

Hope your trip is enjoyable and a lot of fun. What an adventure. In one of hte mags I take, there was a suggested item list of things to take for your car. At the time I thought I had about everything, but I've lost that list. My question, are you taking a spare tire?
