Road trip from Chicago to Lake Muskoka

Peter and his wonderful family made it to Alcona for a visit and have now headed down the highway, on their way to Niagara Falls. Was a pleasure meeting them all and seeing their 52 year old boat.
Hopefully we'll meet up again and spend more time together.

Thanks Peter..

Hummm... I was wondering how long that would take.

Maybe

Leaving on a jet plane

Certainly "500 Miles" and "If I had a Hammer" or "The Marvelous Toy" but, if I had to choose for an MG owner, it is a toss up between

We Shall Overcome
All My Trials
Rich Man Poor Man
or
Man of Constant Sorrow

Seriously now, PP&M I saw back in the day at Ontario Place (1982 or so) still one of the very best concerts I ever attended.

Ok guys, way to hi-jsck this thread!! LoL

Made it home safe and sound. Was a great trip.

Paul, we ran into a major accident and then a MAJOR rain storm on the way to the Falls - missed out on the Maid in the Mist.

It was really great to get to meet you and your family. Thanks for inviting us to stop during our travels. How great is the BCF and the internet?! Beats the old days of having to send messages on stone tablets or by carrier pigeon!! LOL

Paul, your car looks great! I know the master cylinder leak knocked you for a loop. Don't despair, you have a lot to be proud of. We are all overly aware of the flaws of our own LBCs. Finish the rest of the work so you can enjoy your car this summer and fix the paint this winter. Most likely the majority of people won't even notice. Just Drive It!

Thanks again for letting us drop by. Next time it'll have to be with MGs!

Now let's return the thread to the hi-jackers!! LOL
