Wedge Rivets for TR7 header rail?

I'm starting to work on the top replacement for my TR7 and was wondering if anyone knew the rivet size I'd need for attaching the top to the header rail?

I used 1/8 x 1/8 aluminum rivets for mine. I think I needed to ream out the holes just a tad to make them fit tho.

That sounds like too shallow a grip to me, I would suggest 1/8 by 1/4. The fabric thickness should be considered, some tops are heavier but 1/4 should work well.

I finished up last night and ended up using 1/8" rivets that were 5mm long and they seem to be holding pretty well. The only big surprise was the corner rivets which actually had too much play for 1/8 so I had to put in 3/16" rivets. Those corner rivets were a real PITA! Otherwise it was pretty straightforward.
