Rivera Blue with Tan interior?

I was working with a friend this summer building an interior for a truck. He got in a sample book with a bunch of European car leathers, vinyls and carpets. There was a very nice vintage looking tan carpet with dark brown flecks (kind of salt and pepper but brown based). I was thinking that carpet would look great with some tan seats. I want to paint my car rivera blue and I was thinking tan interior would match the blue better than black? Anyone ever gone with that color combination?

Does the dash being black look odd with a tan interior?

I am redoing a bugeye in Irish blue, which would take a dark blue interior. I have considered a very light shale or creamy color for fabrics. carpets would be medium blue with wood dash and steering shell. but I need to mention car will have wide whitewalls on 14" chrome wire wheels, luggage rack and anco bumper wraps front rear. car is for wife so it will need plenty of bling.
what I am saying is that look at complete concept. I would also like to see photos of lighter interiors.

I really don't think that a warm interior color like tan goes well with a cool exterior color like blue. I've seen various cars with a similar combination, and I just don't think they are very harmonious.

The beige/brown would be spectacular, though, with a forest green or cream white exterior.
