A true shame, looks like she was attempting another land speed record. Too young at 39, she was a real pioneer for women in the automotive world.

Yeah, I've been reading about it. It was in rural SE Oregon. Very sad.
She was such an upbeat person.

Truly sad and a surprise. She was obviously accomplished. I'd see the "Overhaulin'" episodes she was in and she wasn't there simply as 'eye candy.' She was a 'grab-n-growl,' all-in fabricator. A true loss for certain.

She was an impressive woman. On the one hand the world is a little less for her death, on the other she died doing what she loved. That seems like the best way to go.
