I just love the slap-stick, Laurel & Hardy aspect to that exchange. Classic.
 

Never saw this flic, but from that clip I thought it was more like Thailand. Went searching and found it to be in fact Thailand. They even speak Thai in some scenes, not Vietnamese.

This was Burt's first film. It was due to be shot in Vietnam, but as things got hot they moved filming to Thailand. I saw a very similar Healey in the same colors advertised for sale in Thailand a couple of years ago. The grille badges look the same, so the car may still be out there somewhere
