TR2/3/3A rings inside bevel

Another ring question.
New rings came with instructions to mount dot or "top" upwards.My rings have no dot or top but have an inside bevel on one edge.
Although 1st compression ring and second came marked in separate 4 pack they appear identical.
Any thoughts appreciated,bevel up or down.

In general, the bevel will go up. Any marking, whatsoever, is also an indication of the top side. That said, there are exceptions, so it would be worth checking with Moss to see what they say.
 
Thanks John.The only marking is imprinted xr8600 on the same side as bevel.
I think up ,but calling Moss is a good idea for tomorrow.
