Hello, my name is Rick Harris, I am a lifelong car enthusiast and a retired auto engineer and amateur tool maker. I have always had an interest in owning a British car. Along with a friend, I recently purchased a 72 TVR Vixen w/ 2.5L Triumph engine for a project. I came close to buying a TR3 many years ago and tried to buy an Austin Healey 100-4 but couldn't come up with the funding. I noticed a user in this forum that is working on a 71 TVR Vixen V8 conversion. That caught my eye because we are planning to convert our TVR to a 289 small block Ford. It's going to be a big job and we can use any help that we can find. Looking forward to connecting with this community.

Welcome to the British Car Forum. The TVR looks like an interesting project... I always liked that car!
Stop in to the TVR section of the forum for friendly, knowledgeable help. Don't forget to stop in to the Pub section for general banter on all sorts of subjects .

Hello Rick

Welcome to the forum.

I had wanted a TVR at one time when I lived in England but they were always a bit out of my price range.

You should get plenty of help in the TVR section.

The Pub is a section where almost anything comes up for discussion.

David
