I'm back in the MG world.After having a 69 Roadster,then a 79,selling both then buying the 79 back,I went to the Miata world.
Last Oct,I sold my brilliant black 01 ,air conditioned,leather seated,bose stereo equipped 6 speed Miata......and bought a 74 1/2 Red MGB GT
Am I nuts..or what ????

Not around here!

I *kept* the MG.

But bought a new Miata. Kept that too.

Then bought another MG....and kept it.

Then another MG...kept that one too.

And I'm not even *close* to being the craziest here. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

BWUHAAHAAAHAAAA!!!!1! *cough*

OOOoops. sorry

Umm, Define "nuts".

I'd say A/C in a car in Toronto is more ~nuts~ than owning some old English anvil! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

...but that's just ME. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Welcome to th' mayhem, Sierra! Pull up a seat an' stay a bit. May we have a photo or two of your new acquisition? Pleeeze? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

IIRC, a 74.5 MGB-GT has roll-up {and DOWN} windows and the quarter lights are hinged... PLENTY of air flow to overpower that wimpish "lake effect" warm. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Hi There Rick;

Are you nuts? Is that a Question? Not around here buddy! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

We`re all a bit off kilter on this forum. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazyeyes.gif

I`m quite certain that everyone here would agree that you did the "RIGHT THING" by selling an "AIR CONDITIONED REPLICAR" of an LBC for the "REAL THING"! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif No A/C (Put the top down); No 6 speed trans (Need not have to do 125mph); No Bose (AM works just fine, Occasionally)etc etc.

Have a Ton of Fun here & with your New / Old Toy;

Regards, Russ /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

I'm from about 1 1/2 hours west of you toward London (the other London)
You are nowhere close to crazy, Toronto just seems that way sometimes, HA HA!!!
Enjoy this forum (best on the 'net) and help me make these guys understand Dogs are only for winter. They don't even know we have summer.
