September 20 - The Central Virginia British Car Club presents its 25th annual Richmond Classics on the James - British and European Automobile and Motorcycle Show, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on historic Brown's Island in Richmond, Virginia. This year's featured marque will be automobiles manufactured by the MG Car Company, Ltd., along with invitations to all of the "Best in Show" winners from the previous 24 year history of this event. Joining the MGs will be an exceptional collection of Ferrari automobiles,and other extraordinary nameplates including Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, AC Bristol, Nash Healy, Austin-Healy, Mini, Morris, Triumph,Jaguar, BMW, Delorean, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Saab, Volvo, Rover, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Pantera, TVR and many more. There will be music, food and other vendors, with awards for all Classes, Best in Show and many other categories. As always, there will be a Hospitality Suite, activities and social events available for registrants beginning on Saturday, September 19th. This is a pre-registration show only, and on-line or mail-in registration forms must be received by Tuesday, September 1st. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sgt. Santa Foundation. I agree, this is a really well done event but you have to pre-register, you can't wait to see if there is a cloud in the sky and then decide whether to come. The show always fills up with a wide array of marques present every year. So, get your registrations in now and come out and enjoy the day.
 
We are up to 256 registrants and are full. The slate of European cars (and one motorcyle) is spectacular. You'll want to come as a spectator even if you aren't bringing your car. Several forum members will be there including Marshall (mrtvr) and me. Dealer displays include Lotus, Lamourghini, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and MINI. VIR will be there with their Allard.
