Just read today where he passed away in October - kind of a shock.
He strarted,& owned IPD,a Volvo parts business,that specialized in per-
formance parts for these cars.
I met him when I raced a Showroom Stock Fiesta,back in the early-
'80's,& felt honored when he came up & talked to me at the tech for the
Rose Cup race.I was amazed that he even knew who I was!
His cars were always meticulously prepared,clean,& FAST.
I'll never forget seeing a P1800 come flying up behind me,in the pouring-
rain.
He died of Parkinson's ,the same thing my Mom has.
