If I choose to replace my orig. smoot case tranny with a ribcase unit what mods do I have to make? Clutch? flywheel ? drive shaft?

newbe here---i don't know why i can't get it straight in my head about gerards post - putting a ribcase on a 948- can someone explain what needs to be done to get the ribcase to work on the 948- can i use the 948 clutch,fork,throwout bearing,flywheel or some combination of both that will work with the 1275 backing plate- sorry but don't want to get wrong parts--thanks
