Put it in reverse and back through the toll booth.

Try crossing the George Washington Bridge crossing the Hudson into NYC. The $8 cash toll is paid heading into New York.
But you do only pay it one way.

Soon a new toll will be added to the Lake Washington 520 bridge to help pay for a new one when ever they decide to build it.
The toll will change on time of day and there will be no toll booths so it won't matter what side ,or the middle ,you sit on

Even if you have to reach across the other seat, you are closer than you would be in a SUV.

Comedy aside, it's not far from the truth. Most British cars are small, so if you lean to the left then your head is exactly where it would be if you were sitting int he left seat.

The only truly difficult thing is when you have to take a parking ticket from an automated garage booth because they put them up high for SUVs. It's a real stretch to get those.

Most drive through ATM's are a chore too since they are set higher anymore for the glut of SUV's. As far as reaching over, I agree unless the RHD car you are driving is a Land Rover or a Jaguar MkII or Jaguar MkX.

I used to like to go through the drive-thru with my buddy in his RHD Mini. I always got a good look from the windowperson trying to figure out what I did with the steering wheel.

I don't bother with drive-thru restaurants or ATMs. It really doesn't take any longer to just get out of the car and walk up, and it forces you to get a little exercise. Life tries to be too convenient for our own health sometimes.

My favorite moment with my RHD Mini Wagon was when I tool it to a hand car wash. The attendant went to drive it into the wash bay.....got in the left side and didn't see a steering wheel! His buddies thought that was particularly hilarious!

Now I know why New Jersey has so many people there! They let you in for free, lets you spend all your money while there, but won't let you out without paying! Pretty smooth idea. :winner1: PJ

I have some trouble with drive-thru ATMs built for SUVs with my Miata and it is left hand drive.

Same with my TR8. They are usually just set too high and you can't read the screen.

Guess I should rethink the height of our drive-through confessional. :jester:

Or the height of the person in it.

Coming back to the original question, of course another solution is only drive your LBC on curving country roads. :yesnod:
