Wow... where did the time go?
Will take suggestions on polishing one's goofing off skills.

Never been busier than the last 4 years since retirement. Find too many things to do and fill my time. Had hobbies before retiring and able to keep them going and develop new ones. Even signed up to teach a course on Pharology at local University starting in Winter 2017.

Congratulations - I'm not far behind you. I recently got involuntarily removed from the workforce and, while I'm looking for something, I have decided that when I turn 62 (very soon) I am going to call it a day with the 9-5 grind and just retire. One thing I've found is I actually have time these days to work on my E-Type! It had been so long that I dang near forgot how much fun it was!

 Now waiting for my wife to stop (in December - something about some initiatives at work she wants to finish).
I'd been 1/2 since 2014 (one half year on and one half year off) which allowed me to practice. Still, when the full thing is in place it feels a little odd.

Didn't get a cake like that, Rick!

I told the wife a couple times that I was considering going back to work to get a rest! :highly_amused: . Good luck and enjoy your retirement, you've earned it! :encouragement:. PJ

Enjoying it indeed.

As a (retired) friend told me - always retire *into* something new. Not just *out* of something old.

That's what I did. And I'm glad I did it that way!

Best job I never had. I thought today was Wednesday. My wife told me it was Thursday and said she was worried about my mental state. I replied, "I can't help it, everyday is Saturday to me."
